Daily information
The grain and oilseeds morning and afternoon market reports’ readability were improved to provide for
an easy to follow daily report on changes in the commodity markets. The reporting of market information
was extended to a daily afternoon report, including free on board (f.o.b.) prices, parity price indicators,
domestic basis premiums and the daily Safex MTM prices. Supplying these reports in a PDF format
increased the usability by users of smart phones and tablets. Additionally, the reports are tweeted to
followers on social media providers, such as Twitter daily. Grain SA also introduced a new website and
SA Graan/Grain eBook facility that increase the availability and sharing of daily information.
