ONTWIKKELENDE LANDBOU
FARMER DEVELOPMENT
119
At first I was not so interested in the whole agriculture thing, but now I am interested; I even feel like
taking part in this farming thing (
Poncho Khoarane
).
Agriculture is so important, because it gives us many things like clothes, drinks and food. We wish we
could be part of agriculture (
Maceli Thandi
).
About careers:
From the start I see that I can make my own decisions and I can also choose what I want to do with my
life. I am very happy that you came to our school (
Nthabiseng Phelanyane
).
I have learned about careers in agriculture and how to study agriculture and I have also learned about how
to take care of plants and animals. I have learned that black people can own farms to build their future, but
we must take care of our plants and animals, because we cannot live without them (
Puleng Pityi
).
I have learned that I can be anything I want in life and there are many opportunities
for me in agriculture (
Tisani Labo
).
Aan die begin het ek nie soveel in die hele landbou-ding belang gestel nie, maar nou stel ek belang;
Poncho Khoarane
).
Landbou is so belangrik, omdat dit ons baie dinge soos klere, drinkgoed en kos gee. Ons wens ons
kan deel van landbou wees (
Maceli Thandi
).
Oor loopbane:
vir my in landbou (
Tisani Labo
).
