afgeskaf te kry. Kanolasaad vir aanplantingsdoeleindes word dus
vanaf 2019 sonder ’n tarief die land ingevoer.
Finale kommentaar is in September 2018 gelewer op die Tesourie
se voorgestelde
dieselrabatstelsel
, na dit breedvoerig tydens
bedryfswerkswinkels met Tesourie en die Suid-Afrikaanse Inkomste
diens (SAID) bespreek is.
Werklike inkomste en produksiekoste
Data en inligting is ingesamel en verkry om die werklike inkomste
en produksiekoste van die
belangrikste mielieproduksiegebiede
vir
die 2016/2017-produksieseisoen te bepaal. Die historiese werklike in
komste en produksiekostesyfers word bepaal en ingesamel, aangesien
dit ’n idee gee van werklike koste per insetitem en die winsgewend-
heid van ’n gewas. ’n Begrote inkomste- en produksiekostesyfers vir
mielies (2018/2019-produksieseisoen) is opgestel.

Grain SA managed to have the
10% import tariff
on
canola seed
scrapped. From 2019 canola seed for planting purposes will therefore
be imported without a tariff.
In September 2018 final comments were submitted on the Treasury’s
proposed
diesel rebate system
after the matter had been discussed
in detail during industry workshops with the Treasury and the South
African Revenue Services (SARS).
Actual income and production costs
Data and information were gathered to determine the actual income
and production costs of the
main maize production areas
for the
2016/2017 production season. The historical real income and production
cost figures are established and collected to obtain an idea of actual
cost per input item and the profitability of a crop. The budgeted income
and production cost figures for maize (2018/2019 production season)
were compiled.
