You have brought to the attention of many produc-
ers the most important factor in direct planting, be-
ing: The big saving in capital costs which hides
away and is seldom highlighted in the farming com-
munity. I am very pleased to see you have included
permanent ley crops into your crop rotation tri-
als. This I believe will need at least 10 to 15 year
trials to achieve reliable results.
