According to Nekita Herman (Dealer Devel-
opment and Marketing co-ordinator, Kemp-
stonAgri), Claas Power Systems (CPS) brings
together top quality components to create
a drive system that sets new standards and
always delivers maximum power which is
derived fromClaas.
“The FPT and DPS engines in our tractors
range from 50 kW to 306 kW. The Arion 650
(129 kW) and Axion 900 (up to 306 kW) is
equipped with a Vistronic fan that reduces
engine noise and fuel consumption. The
Axion is fitted with a Cmatic transmission
which always chooses the right engine speed
andgear ratio for thebest fuel consumption,”
Herman said.
The Axion and Arion have a long wheelbase, and good weight
distribution to handle all sorts of attachments. All Claas tractors are
equippedwith fourwheel drive and there is theoptionof Telematics
for data collecting, operating time analysis and remotemonitoring.
What can be expected in the future?
“Claas is taking the future very seriously, with the focus on data
management; machine to machine communication and cultivation
planning.Wearegoing towardmoreandmore intelligentmachines,”
she added.
