Producer of the Year competition The Producer of the Year competition has been on-going since 2003. Initially the competition was only for the larger producers. However, we soon realised that all the different levels of producers need to have role models, and as a result PGP celebrates success at every level. Table 8 contains the names of all the entrants to the competition for 2024/2025 season. The producers that win are celebrated each year at a Day of Celebration held at NAMPO Park in Bothaville.
