117 11.8 Elections were completed, with the newly elected Chairperson, Richard Krige (after the retirement of Derek Mathews), with the Vice-chairpersons elected, Jeremia Mathebula and Danie Minnaar. 11.9 On the second day of Congress, in-house matters were dealt with, inclusive of the acceptance of the annual financial and consolidated statements, membership fees and levies and the appointment of auditors. 11.10 Breakaway sessions were also presented to delegates to join work sessions for maize, winter cereals, sorghum, soybeans, sunflowers and groundnuts. 12. Conclusion 12.1 Grain SA as a non-profit organisation will continue to serve grain and oilseeds producers as a mouthpiece for both developing and commercial producers, advocating matters in the interest of producers.
