Office Administrator

Grain SA is a major role player in the grain industry in South Africa and offers industry strategic services to grain producers and other role players. The organization would like to appoint a suitable, qualified person in the following position: 

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Farmer Development Programme
(Bloemfontein)

In addition to General Office administration duties such as compiling and keeping of minutes at meetings, receptionist duties, Health & Safety, updating of asset register, preparing reports for various trusts, etc., the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

Accommodation Arrangements, Financial Administration of Staff Claims, Processing of Payments, Administration of Farmer of the Year Award, Arrange Events and Meetings, Logistical Arrangements for Events and Congresses, Newsletter Administration and Report Compilation

Requirements for the Post:
• Relevant National Diploma with 3 -5 years relevant working experience
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken language)
• Computer literate in all MS Office programmes (intermediate level)
• Good Typing skills
• Driver’s Licence.

Remuneration: The organization will offer a competitive salary which can be structured to include a savings scheme, pension fund and a medical aid, in exchange for the services of the successful candidate. All remuneration packages are calculated according to the “cost-to- company” method.
