Tubestone is the proud and exclusive agents and distributor of BKT tyres in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. BKT are front runners when it comes to excellent quality Agricultural and Industrial tyres.

The first Ploughing Demonstrations was launched at Grain SA's NAMPO Harvest Day in 2012. The event gained immediate success and interest from the public. At NAMPO 2013, the first official national Ploughing Competition final saw the light.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

During each year, qualifying regional Ploughing Competitions are held all over South Africa. The first few places will quallify to compete at the National Championships at Grain SA's NAMPO Harvest Day. The winner at NAMPO will become the new South African Ploughing Champion, and will have the chance to compete at the following years World Ploughing Competition.

WORLD PLOUGHING COMPETITION

The World Ploughing Organisation has been organising the World Ploughing Championships for many years, and this event is immensely popular in the world. Currently, 58 countries participate in the event each year. The World Ploughing organisation has several objectives, which clearly defines what this competition is all about. They want to foster and preserve the art of ploughing and improve the skill of ploughing the land. This will also be one of Graan/Grain SA, BKT and Tubestones objectives as we feel that this is indeed an art and skill to be well-kept and passed on to future generations. Even though agricultural machinery, tractors and equipment has become very modern and advanced, the knack for proper ploughing will prevail, as it is, an art.
